The Hex Breaker -muthafuckin- Quintet!

Hasidic men race through midtown with Hex Breaker bootlegs under their long coats. Across 47th Street, a kid cries at a crosswalk, holding Mommy's hand and waiting for the light to change; in Brooklyn somewhere, Witchbeam strokes his kitty's scruff and contemplates.

Elsewhere over the Atlantic, Josh orders a drink on the plane and mocks the on-board movie selections. Jesse's back on the ground in NY, furiously ripping live audio from INC, while Mr. Matthews gets too much change, and wonders whether to come clean.

Tonight, I sit up 'til dawn watching vintage sexploitation movies, but Wednesday, oh sweet Wednesday, I host the Hex Breaker Quintet live on My Castle of Quiet on WFMU-FM.

Bumble-dee-bumble-dee-bumble-dee-weep-weep-weeeeeeeppp go Witchbeam and Mr. Matthews. Braaaap braaaap braaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh ahhhhhhhhhhhhh ahhhhhhh... go Josh and Jesse.

All are welcome, to hear what happens when two of the most compelling electronic, sound-shaper crews alive today combine to make music magic. It's Telecult Powers + Grasshopper + some creepy dude with a nice smile, leath'ry wings, and a drippy pen.

And though it's two nights early—witches, demons, lovers and lycanthropes are welcome, nay encouraged, to strip naked and dance and fornicate in the moonlight. Please note that this is a radio event.
